I see what Tony meant now. I never read it in any context but eBay refugees.

Probably a dated description though, which meant something at the time the forum was renamed but is now lost on most people. Plus we don't really want eBid to be known as the eBay refugee site.

For heavens sake people PC has gone mad. We live in a free Country, freedom of speech, freedom of movement etc.. We are a Nation that can poke fun at ourselves, laugh, joke. Lose that then we are truly lost.

True. Too many people go looking for things to take offence at nowadays. Often on behalf of others - without bothering to ask them if they are offended.

I am a refugee from the bay and I use that word in all innocence. If you find it offensive then you are a tad too sensitive
