We all depend on each other here. We have to.
I use ebay to expose or advertise eBid.
Only when they offer me free listings, I list a few and when I sell, I'll send eBid info with the item.
If they check out eBid, they will see that I have the same item they just bought is listed for LESS here in eBid.
I have had customers thank me for the info.

Yes, if every seller that has joined ebid over the last 14 years, came back and listed 50 items at good prices, the place would rock!

I think the point that a lot of sellers on here are missing is that ebid is just a selling platform- they set up the basics and the rest is up to you, this is why the fees are low. Ebay however, is managed for you- that's why the fees cost a fortune and they have a say in everything you do.

For ebid to start advertising and plugging on our behalf, the fees will need to increase to cover this. They have already set up facebook pages and Pinterest for us to use which are free- but nobody is using them !

I personally think it is worth investing my time and efforts into this site as the end result is: I will get to keep more of the money from the items I sell. I will continue to use other sites to sell my items alongside ebid whilst I am building up my feedback and reputation as a seller on here.

And let's not forget the ultimate way to attract buyers,it's easy: Sell things that people want to buy, it's not rocket science !

One way I thought of and others may have thought of what about writing to any local newspaper and ask if they will mention Ebid in their letter section. Not sure if you have to ask but I would do this willingly if anybody thought it would help and I allowed to.
