I know I have had shops on here a few times, and then drifted away again, and I should probably know the answer to this question, but.... If someone wishes to make a purchase, do they have to sign up to be a member of eBid to do so?

Yes, I believe they do. It's free, and shouldn't be a hassle. They would have to sign up to most other sites in order to buy as well. I'm not sure about the Google Shopping site though.
