Thread: Oh dear, Somebody was in a foul mood

  1. #1

Default Oh dear, Somebody was in a foul mood

I am doing Kleeneze in my local area for a bit pocket money each month, I took a customers order to them today and apologized for 1 of their items not being available until March, they had said to me that they've had a problem today with a seller on eB*y, this person had original listed a car £600 and it was sold last week, but the seller still got the buyer from my route of customers to do a round trip for nothing. I did however mention eBid to them, but couldn't give them my buddylink as I wasn't sure I'd meant an unhappy eB*yer
Don't walk in front of me..I may not follow-don't walk behind me..I may not lead-just walk beside me and be my friend.

Glad it's not just me - I've read it three times and still can't make sense of it.

I act as sales agent for "Kleeneze" in my local area to add to my regular income on a monthly basis, i was delivering a customers order to them today, and i had to apologise for one item not being available to purchase until March., hence their order was incomplete....this led them to mention another area of dissatisfaction with an E££Y transaction.
Apparently they were telling op that an E££Y seller had listed a Car for the sum of £600, that had happened to have been sold on the previous week....yet the seller led the prospective buyer to believe that the car in question was still available to purchase. The unlucky prospective buyer had made a journey to view the already sold car an was voicing their unhappiness at this situation.

The op at this point mentioned that the unlucky E££Y buyer should seek out Ebid, but didn't go as far to reveal their buddylink to them as they didn't want to provide this information to a dissatisfied E££Y seller.....i'm unsure as to why this point would act as a deterrent....we'll need the op to fill us in on the next exciting installment of this saga.

i think that this translates the point.

If they are happy or not (with that site) they need the news about eBid. That might be the happiest kernel of knowledge they receive all day. Never risk it. Give then the truth and set them free.

No, it doesn't: it was the last paragraph that didn't make sense.

Ahhhh.....I think......I THINK it means....... the customer was in such a foul temper about his e*ay experience, that it was safer not to recommend ANY auction site.
