Let's hope the next idea on the list is a better one.
I had suggested this in another thread. Mainly because people keep going on about the possibility of eBid acquiring the dot com. Money Bookers changed it's name to Skrill........so it is not an unthinkable proposition. Have also read through the comments of those who are not for the recommendation. They make some good points as to why it may not be a good idea. However, it is done often, and strategically by many companies. If done, needs to be done with much fore thought to determine its potential for growth or harm.
Yes it has. Batter up #2!
Totally agree with you there kreative.
We have had changes in the past, from the red logo to the latest purple one.
We are building up the site as it is now, I for one would not like to see a different logo, I quite like the way things are.
After all - didn't we vote for the new logo?
We have all worked hard bringing custom to eBid, through printing out flyers, using eBid packaging tape, eBid address and label reusable tags and such like - it would be sad if these were all suddenly of no use.
I would suggest that sellers with few or little sales would find something of more interest to occupy their minds - rather than try to re-organise or rename this site.
May I suggest doing a really difficult Sudoku puzzle ...
or a crossword
(if you cannot fathom out how to complete a Sudoku puzzle)
BTW - I'm not blonde
Yes, I also agreed with Kreatives comments r/t # 1 idea. Trish you are quite right about all of the hard work of eBidders to get eBid name out there. Most critical is the timing..........eBid is at a pivotal point positioned for potential growth, with the launch of its Aps and social networking ventures. Time is needed now to measure the impact of just these few accomplishments.
I am not opposed to ideas being considered in the mean time. The forums are designed for the exchange of ideas. I see other topics being discussed in the forms, and no one complains. They have little or no value in term of the bottom line for sellers. Matters not to me; if I'm not interested in what is being discussed, I simply avoid the thread. I for one am interested with hearing about the series of ideas from Juliebabe. Does not mean I agree or disagree; just would like to see them, if that is ok.
I suggest we allow everyone to have their say on whatever (appropriate and reasonable) topic they choose regardless of how many sales they make or how many item they list. eBid is an all-inclusive site where everyone has the right to an opinion, no matter how wrong, misguided, annoying, idiotic, moronic or just plain stupid it is.
sounds like the "mindless drivel" thread that everyone (those who participated) seemed to just love.
