    Well you are a specialist in comparison to me, in regards to jewelry and these types of terms and dates, etc. So it is all relative. It will be really interesting to see how close any one was able to come to "the true answer."

    Visited a local mall that has 9-10 fine jewelry shops on board. I visited 5 of them, and 2 of them pointed me to a jeweler who specializes in high end gems, diamonds, and European jewelry. He estimated the pendant at $150 - $200 (92 - 122 GBP); I used $1.64/GBP and rounded. He was not certain of the place of origin/exact date.

    Also took it to Tiffany's, although the pendant is not among their specialty line. Tiffany's was quite impressed with the craftsmanship. They felt that the reason it may be difficult to clearly evaluate the pendant, may be that it was custom made. But they were impressed with the piece, and they are keen on craftsmanship and quality.
