Ever seen a shield crossed off on top of a thread. I see this sometimes in some threads. Hoovering over it produces a message......"Unauthorized script written to this page."

I've never actually noticed it but i had to giggle at you hoovering it

When i was a child, a fair few moons ago, most, if not all vacuum cleaners were made by Hoover, (Electrolux may have been around then, not sure but it was mostly Hoover that i came across).
Now we have many, many companies making cleaners but many English people still refer to vacuuming as 'hoovering' even if they don't own a Hoover.

So, if i see that sign, i'll hover over it rather than clean it

I had to hoover over it in this thread just now. Is there a problem? I thought the forums were a hoovered place. Might have to consider some options. Well guess I'd better get to hoovering again. What a waste of time.

Aha, now i see the problem, you're using a Hoover, i use a Vax

Is it your anti virus prog being sensitive? Are you with Sky? They keep telling us about their new shield.

Odd, I've never seen it. Of course I rarely Hoover, I prefer to sweep.
