did it again..lost my reply....my fault

I have in the past written some lengthily replies to threads.
And then I lost them by hitting the reply button again. I was sort of ticked off at myself for being so
quick on the draw and not being careful to use the send button instead.
I never tried to re do the posting, however I often see a little yellow indication at the lower right indicating a saved marker, it comes briefly and leaves.
Are posts saved as one is writing ? if yes how do I go about recovering them..
I know I'll do it again....

If you go off the page and return there is a text link at the botom of the reply box.

It only works after you get the little yellow saved notice.

Auto restore contents I believe is what you're looking for.
I'm trying it now to see at what point it's set to auto save. So far nothing.
I typed the above several hours ago, hit reply to thread and could not get auto restore option to come up. I just tried now and it came up immediately.
So if you lose your comments they're there it seems just a matter of when you can auto restore.
