Default Aquilegia plants - the final chapter

For your entertainment only - not a plug, the listing has ended.

For those of you kind enough to read of our ill treatment at the hands of that nutty woman, we thought you might like to know how we fared at the end. Sadly a few of us perished. After sitting knee deep in a tray full of cold rain water, we were then removed to a much nicer tray with drainage holes. But when the weather changed and it became sunny and hot; we then became dehydrated as surprise, surprise - she didn't give us anything to drink for several days. And so we didn't all survive. Maybe if any of our young are taken away from their parents again this year, they will be looked after with the care they deserve

We hope the lucky few who escaped to a new home are being better treated than we are here.

Till next year, goodbye from the surviving few.

thank you both for the good news about our cousins, it's nice to know there are kind people out there who care. We are hoping to be planted out with Aunty Emily soon - she found herself alone after that nutty woman failed to prune a hebe shrub and all her family perished in the cold dark conditions they found themselves in when they tried to grow this year.

We're all very excited, have heard there is a gap opening up beneath the willow tree and are hoping to be chosen to fill it although there is not room for all of us. Expect Sues with her pretty pink outfit will get chosen along with Annie in white and maybe Moony whose flower isn't quite out yet but is pushing herself forward to be on the front line. More news from nuttyland later.

We are happy to see that our cousins who got sent to Wales are doing so well. Most of us got left to get on with growing last year and we put on a wonderful display for that nutty woman - but now she's started to dig us up because our bed is to slabbed over for a new shed! A few of us - that is, the prettiest ones are lucky enough to be repotted to plant somewhere else whilst the rest are being discarded in the compost bin. But we will get our revenge by saving our seeds to be spread around the garden hehe.
