Hi everyone


I am looking to get a laser printer black ink only to do hot foiling. I want to be able to print on card 250to 300 gsm.
does anyone know of a laser printer that can take this weight of card

The Samsung SL- 825 MD will go to 220gsm. Searching is quite a pain as you have found and I'd make the manufacturers' UK HQ do the work...submit a query.

I've done hot foiling for years but never gone beyond 150gsm in cardstock. I imagine the cost would go up considerably. The 825 comes in at about £90 which is not too bad, but above that my guess would be prices would increase considerably as more metal would be needed in construction and less plastic! Good luck in the search.

Searching printer retailer sites for 300gsm mono laser printer seems to return enough results. Not cheap though.
