Thread: Ninja lister

  1. #1

    Default Ninja lister

    Has there been a change?

As some of you know, I import my listings from another site's lister.

They allow more characters in the title and very occasionally I exceed the 80 character limit on Ebid.

In the past, when it happened, sales have been listed, with the end of the title "cut off".

It happened to me today and the upload log showed a failed item - reason "title has to be between 3 and 80 characters"

You might want to put this on the NL thread Marianne http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...-Auctions-Help

It wasn't a listing with characters that aren't allowed or maybe a duplicate?

    Thanks Gill, will do.

I hadn't realized there was a specific thread for NL and thought it was more likely to be spotted on the KT then on any other part of the forums.

No, it had no unusual character and wasn't a duplicate, but I was conscious of the fact that the title was rather wrong and that was indeed the error message that popped up.

On the failed item what do you see in the report compared to what you uploaded? Can you take a screen shot of both?

Ninja Lister does need a forum of it's own but I doubt it will happen.
