    I favour your explanation. It's not really that important as I'm not likely to need to physically locate the grave. The location as written just raised my curiosity and made me try to make sense of what was meant by 'aces'. The allusion to the playing card was the best my feeble brain could come up with. Yours makes far more sense. HerMaj's comment about grassed areas also makes sense as such memorials could be placed on what would normally be empty grassed walkways between rows (avenues) of graves.

    Well i can't spell.
    I read it as
    "between grave access 1 & 2"
    Whatever that is.
    Probably spicific to that cemetary.

    No in-ground marker for me.
    To hell with the ease of mowing.
    I deserve a big, gaudy, MEMORIAL stone.
    With a hologram of me, mounted to it, like a "life mask"
    And larger at the bottom, to prevent tipping.

    Seriously, I always thought that making your grave eaisy to mow, was demeaning.
    An anti-memorial. "don't mind me, i'll just roll aside as you mow" ... or roll over as you mow.
