he did remove the guard to show people how it works, a great piece of initiative on behalf of the maker,

it would only be dangerous without the guard, or to people who are so far removed from the use of machinery , they dont have the ability to under stand what its doing,

woodworking machinery is far more dangerous , take a spindle moulder one of the cutters fly out bye bye intestines or anywere lse the cutter lands, cross cut and ripping saws, [powered] surface planners , did i mention chainsaws my favourite i use one every day

Believe me, metalworking machinery can be lethal. I lost a thumb in an aciddent with a high-speed aluminium saw.

This shredder looks cool. Might be a future build for the Scouts.
