my first question (one of many sorry)

when I do a listing whats the format
do I start the biding immediately and run for 28 days for example
or
run for a shorter length of time like 7 days

if so do you have to relist or will it keep relisting if unsold

Hii, Ann! Nice to have a neighbor on here!! Welcome!

You can set it to run for about any amount of time you choose. Usually it is best, if listing in a category with many other listings, to make it for about 7-10 days, with 10 auto relists. This means you only need to push the dellete/relist button if they don't sell...every 70 days or so.

Well done on getting your Store up and running so quickly!

I just had a little lookie to see if I could offer any help/suggestions as adapting to a new site is always challenging! Things are not the same here as elsewhere - every site is unique in its own right as I'm sure you will understand. Okay, here's my two pennerth to hopefully help:

Spelling needs checking eg - velvet. If this is wrong (especially in a title) no potential customer searching for velvet will find yours....
General spelling - beautfill wye valley, pits?, collecton....
Also, "i am more than happy to expect returns" - do you mean accept?

re bid prices only - eBid (to me) attracts BIN's more than auction bids (don't ask me why, it just is that way here! ) so I would suggest you have a minimum bid price you would be happy to accept as well as a BIN (Buy It Now) price.

auction duration - 28 days is a very long time to a hopeful auction winner/bidder to wait IMO, don't you think?

re contact me via the messaging service? - here on eBid contact can be made via the Q & A section below (on the listing form).

no barcode? - did you put Exempt in the barcode area? (otherwise your item can't be uploaded to google shopping by eBid)

All non-payments will be filed with . Not needed here on eBid.

Oh, BTW, adding links in your listings...... highlight the wording in your listing you want folk to click on, copy the link to your listings, click the link icon then paste your link in the appropriate box.
re Joining eBid on your listings - type your required wording inviting people to click on it to join eBid - highlight your word(s), copy your own unique Buddy Point link, click the link icon then paste your unique Buddy Point link into the box.

Just another thought or two: To list the same item elsewhere at a lower price means that you are unlikely to attract Buyers here on eBid.
To have a single item on more than one site = a possible problem a Seller had recently when 2 Buyers bought the same item at the same time.....
