Account Suspended

My hubby's ebay account has been suspended for "violation"!!! We have done nothing but buy bits for the car over the past few months, so we haven't done anything wrong. Haven't sold on that account for months either.

We have had no non-paying bidder alerts, as we have always paid for everything immediately so it's not that.

I have no idea why this has happened - anyone else had this?

Is it a spoof email? Have you tried to actually log into the account?

I get at least 10 emails a day saying my account has been compromised (lol) or I am now a powerseller, click this link to verify (and give us yer credit card details etc..)

If you have been asked to confirm your password and or account details ignor as it is probably a spoof.

No, it wasn't an email - I went to ebay and tried logging in and got the message that this account had been suspended due to violation and an email had been sent as to why - I didn't receive an email!!!

This happened to me last week Kaz, supposedly hadn't paid my bill but owed nothing, I sent an email to them about it and got an apology.

Now there's an idea.... rarer than rocking horse crud !! A framed apology from Ebayl..... WOW. The ebay fees would be crippling though (not to mention paypals cut) lol
