i used to have a bit of a thing about jewellery. i think it was the point of buying it, it felt like a treat or a reward though i didnt, and still dont, hardly ever wear any.
again, i have given a lot of it away as gifts, my sisters and friends have also bought some from me, have a few bits left which i will probably sell once the motivation kicks back in
oh to have that sort of money again to waste
LOL .... I dont see it as waste. I see it as insentive to get you through the day ( what ever it takes ) and I KNOW I spend a lot LESS on my frivolous things than the average smoker , night clubber , filling a tank of petrol, weekly drinking sprees, eating out , etc.Originally Posted by minkyrra

I collect general sci-fi stuff, mainly Xena bits&bobs and trading cards.
I also have a thing for cat ornaments at the mo.... also watches....
I collect china from the Royal Doulton Reflections set. My grandfather left me a dinner service but the kids broke some and more died in a move. OH found a couple of pieces in a charity shop and got me interested in rebuilding the service. Now I'm trying to build 3 services, one for each of the kids.

Interesting papers etc. for doing collage
Scarves (silky chiffony ones, not woolly ones!)

Books, CD's, dust, coathangers and miscellaneous greb all seem to accumulate in the house as well.....
I have a gorgeous collection of miniature shoues ... the Just the Right Shoe ones and the Jane Asher Willow Hall shoe trinket boxes.
Only started last usmmer and within about 2 weeks had spent a fortune on espit and got 11!!! now I have about 14 JRTS and 4 willow hall but am always on the lookout for more
