Well, this was supposed to have been fixed. I waited a week. Still misspelled.
Here's one of the listings:
Buy > Collectibles > Postcards > Topographical > USA > Colourado > 168283480
Postcard Aspen, Colorado, Tourtellote Run Vintage Unused
Supposed of been fixed by the sub-editor..
...of courst.

I think you may fare better taking it direct to support via email or starting a new thread here.
I have often got the impression that support do not revisit threads here when they have already responded on it or think they have fixed the issue raised. That may be partly our fault for continuing to chatter on threads when eBid think them 'closed'.

A "glitches thread" should only be "closed" after a proper fix has occurred.
Can still go to support, although I thought that had already been done.

But if admin believe that they have fixed a problem then why should they revisit the thread, particularly as it had moved on to a discussion about the misuse of the English language; totally unconnected to the original problem? They likely feel their time better spent on addressing the next issue on the list. Which is why I suggest an email or new thread may better flag to support that on issue still exists.
Though given how hard it seems to get eBid to fix typographical errors on the site it may be easier to see if Colorado would be willing to change the way they spell the name of the state to suit eBid.
I'm sorry to have to say that it was not a case of my mishearing; it's a case of the common abbreviation to which you refer being misheard and passed on as normal speech in this area.especially. Perhaps, had I shown that the word "must" was emphasised by the speaker ("must") the point would have been made more clearly. "You must of!..." Incidentally, programmes such as this are heavily edited, and have to be for obvious reasons.Originally Posted by joh[B
You're right, Astral (as usual).
I just reposted it, with an actual example of one listing.
Why would admin believe they've fixed the problem? 'Revisit'? What makes you think they've ever visited this thread?
See post #1. Collectibles > Postcards > Topographical > USA > Colourado
It's still like that. Headline: US state adopts British English. Canadians celebrate.
Fake news.
