Have just joined ebid this morning.......there does not appear to be many buyer's on here....or is it just an exceptionally slow time???
Ebay is my usual venue.

sure do. Sold about 300 items since I joined in june 03 but during that time I didn't list anything for about 8 months too so not to bad. Started listing again nearly 2 weeks ago and have had one sale, but I haven't got that namy items on

Hi HPJ welcome to Ebid,

Not loads of buyers but its a hard task to get people away from Ebay when they are so familiar with it.

At the end of the day list and buy on both at least on this site you have nothing to lose and the more who sell on here the more buyers will buy regularly.

had a buyer just this week ... dont have more than 20 items up for sale meself at a time (small timer me lol) but have noticed that peeps selling on here who also sell on ebay do so at MUCH lower prices on eBid than t'other side.

Go figure!!

So the moral of the story is ... if you want it REALLY CHEAP come and buy off eBid

Yep we buy on here infact I have just purchased a cd I wanted which I was due to win an auction on Ebay in 7 hours so Ebid had it not 100% the same but close enough so one less sale for Ebay.

It is just a case of looking thats all.

I love Ebid as much as I love Ebay - yeah I do love Ebay but then I only buy and don't sell.

Personally I have sold more on ebid than on ebay. Around 300 items since last June. I prefer ebid as you have nothing to loose if you dont sell and it dont cost at all to repost. With ebay you pay whether you sell or not.

The answer is Yes there are some buyers. I bought 3 or 4 items today. Not very expensive but just what I needed.Cheers Sheila
