Welcoming Nochex - reducing NPB's

Hello,

This post aims to simplify the payments process for your UK Ebid customers.

This in turn should ensure more successful sales, reducing the amount of non paying bidders.

I notice payments and checkout are not quite integrated here as yet.

My favourite UK payments provider is Nochex and there is no need for customers to sign up to pay.

I have a simple form on my Ebid 'All about' page.
Click here to see it.

This form could alternatively be included on your items advert page.

When a buyer wins one of our auctions I send a link to my Ebid 'all about' page in the winning buyer notification email and payment instructions.

This seems to be working quite well for me.

That is useful.
Look at http://greenroom.nochex.com/showthread.php?t=3982, now that is bloody brilliant. It automatically detects all your auction details. However, it only supports eBay, hopefully (or if you contact him) he may modify it to work with eBid.

What do you think of that?

Yes, I also use the Nochex / ebay bridge script that you mention on ebay - it works perfectly.

Yes, you will need a Nochex account to get started.
Your customers do not need to sign up for an account to pay, which is great.
Nochex is much much safer for sellers than its large rival.
