is it possible for anybody to find out my personal details such as email address etc.
I think something fishy is happening concerning a bidder.
This bidder has only just joined ebid and now he has given me grief already

until someone wins an auction of yours they cant find out your email address

don't know how else they would get it unless its in your posting profile here and they emailed you from the boards and you answered hence your email would show up

only other thing is if they got your email addy from a previous winning bidder if they contacted them for any reason and it was given them

nothings avaliable till the auction ends, and then only to the winning bidder

Nope can't as has been stated.
But has the person not just sent you an email via ask a question ? you will get the mail link but the sender is not able to obtain your addy this way.
If you think you mail address has been compromised, inform support.

it was a dutch auction so would my email address gone to the only bidder if auction is still running

he used the buy now option instead of bidding in dutch auction
I suspect him of trying to screw some money out me by making out he is some authority.
