    Unhappy Help with HTML

    Hi can any one tell me HOW i can get my own HTML on the descriptions of my auctions - they way they descriptions are organised normally are awful and you do not get a good advertisment with them

    i really want to start sellling well andy ideas???

    I use HTML when placing auctions myself. From memory, I think that you just place the HTML in the space, and somehow the auction software knows it is html.

    Addon to above:-
    Don't forget, you will need to have any pics used uploaded to a server beforehand in order to have them displayed in auction. HTML will have to link to the pics on your server.

    If you are a member of eBay, then you could do what I do. I copy my html from my eBay listing and this is how I do it:

    First of all make sure that you have TWO windows open, one on ebay and the other on eBid!
    On eBay, go onto any item and click on "Revise" (then click on "Continue") or "Sell Similar" (then click on the "Go To Review" button).

    Next, scroll down and click on to "Edit description"
    Scroll down again and then click on "Enter your own HTML" and Wallah! it's already written for you! Just copy and paste into eBid's little HTML box...it's dead easy!

    Any problems then let me know....have fun!

    I have a WYSIWYG / HTML editor which you can use if you wish

    Its FREE and works in both IE and FireFox

    i will give them a try - i am using one html editor called nvu from another fella ebidder but am finding it a bit difficult i.e. changing font and colour etc

    anyway thx 4 all ur help its appreciated - n if you are looking for items a bit saucy please check out my ebay stall x x
