I just switched from e-bay because of the outrageous fees that they charge. The prices of everything just keep going up. It's very sad for the spirit of auction. Auctions are supposed to be fun and adventerous. And if you don't have a chance to walk away with getting a outrageously killer deal on some merchandise then your just wasting your time. am getting quite a lot of luck on ebid while ebay is charging me twice and i am fighting them tooth (all my teeth) and (all my) nail(s too....)
Had a couple of wierdo's now on my blackball list who tried to buy thru question channel with postal orders and having just read that the U.S. of A. has a glut of counterfeit postal orders on their debits from people like us, decided gto stick close to pppay or moneybookers or even paypal (if I have to - but having read www.paypalsucks etc. am not so keen)
I love the simplicity of ebid, not just the more humane pricing structure. for 7 items on ebay that didn't even get looked at let alone sold, they are wanting to charge me fifty quid!
