Thread: Buy Now option

  1. #1

    Default Buy Now option

I have just bought something for the second time on buy now. Both times it has taken me by surprise as you just click the one button on the page and that's it....item bought.

I know when I click the button that I want to buy the item but I can't help worrying that if the kids happen to be playing with the PC that something could be bought very easily that wasn't wanted.

Perhaps there could be a way to input your password again or have a link that says something like 'are you sure you wish to purchase this item' or........I can't think of anything else !!

It's late and I am waffling now !!

    Hi Sue,
Have to admit I agree with you on this one.
Brilliantly easy to use.....too easy to mess with!

Yup, I was amazed at how easy it is to use the "Buy It Now" Feature, may be we should put this in the website suggestions....Hold on, im on it.

It's no different to the standard bidding process though is it?

Type your amount in, press bid, it's done. No, 'are you sure?'s, your bid is placed and there is no going back.
I haven't seen anyway to retract a bid or remove a bid placed on your own auction which could be useful (or abused).

    Is it over yet?
