Hi there

that depends what you are selling.
Selling here is slower than on feepay but thats mainly due to feepay being an established site, ebid is gonna catch up.
This does seem to be a quiet period, summer seems to be, but its the school holidays now so may pick up.
Hope you get sales. Stick with it, it'll be worth it.
you might try adding pictures also, it doesnt cost a lot and does make a more attractive item and will make the items stand out in the listings. Buyers are known to check items with pictures first.
Hi all
I spoke too soon...after a long time, finally my first item will be sold...There is hope after all....thank you ebiders.
LOL @ feepay.....
I actually tried look for it, thinking it was an actually site!! (I do hope you are talking about EBAY, Otherwise i just made a fool of myself.... again!)
Should of been blonde......
your roots are showing Tara hon.
A lot of people ask the same question as the OP - so I'm going to be a boring old fart, inject some common sense and remind everyone of the bleedin' obvious.....
eBid is an online auction site and offers people the opportunity to report their trading experiences with each other - this is done using what is called feedback.
To see quickly if anyone is selling anything - browse any of the auction side categories and look at the seller ID's - beside them are feedback scores. If everyone had a zero or very low score, then no-one is selling anything, but if there are a good proportion of medium to high feedback scores, then someone must be buying and selling because you can only give or receive feedback as the result of a sale.
It's also a better way to check the sales-busy-ness of a category - does everyone selling in the category have a good feedback number, or are the all low numbers? Each site is different regarding its busy categories and it's no good just looking at the number of listings in them - you need to assess the sales in them - eBay's search closed successful auctions tool is great for doing this - but the nearest we have on eBid is to check the feedback of the sellers in each category and look for those categories with the high average for the sellers.
Hope that makes sense?
