Some sites that I visit have a system where members can make a donation which goes towards the upkeep of the site.

Perhaps Ebid could have the same thing ?

In return for any monies collected Ebid could put it all towards advertising.

I'm not suggesting donating thousands of pounds but maybe both Ebid and the vast amount of sellers here would get some publicity and promote the site ?

Just a thought.
