I think there should be a NPB (Non Paying Bidder) process. Yes, you can post negative feedback but this really isn't much of a deterrant to potential NPBs. There should be some kind of report process which would issue an "official" response (an automated email would be enough) informing NPBs of the consequences of their actions.

I doubt that woudl make any difference to a NPB

there is no real way to deal with idots who bid on items then dont contact you as they can always re-register under a diferent alias as was prooved last night.
