Is auctioneditor really the editor of eBuyer or just a newbie posing as the editor ?

I have followed Ebid for two months, noticed at one time 183173 auctions, but only 24 bids, Same time at Ebay 24 fist pages of all subjects only on 17 was NOT a bid.
Following this we will review our intent to open a shop on Ebid,
The way of placing a bid is also complicated and contact with seller or buyer almost imposseble.
Will now not replace our Ebay shop( 4921 feedback 98% ) till we have found a larger quantity of bidders.

You should not expect the same number of bidders here on EBID as you get on Feepay- Feepay uses your fees to pay for prime time advertising!. although not always to great effect.

Where EBID has the advantage is the fact listing (for gold members) is totally free - It's up to you to let your customers know where to find you. My advice would be send a newsletter out to your old customers telling them you have another outlet here on EBID and offer them a discounted rate here- as you will not have listing or FVF fees here- plus you can have an EBID store for free- Great isnt it

I recently listed 12 items on Feepay when they had a reduced fee 'buy it now' promotion, these were new items at great prices - I sold 1 item out of the 12 ( a Wallace and Gromet filofax) I lost my fees on the other 11. I have since managed to sell 4 of the same items here, the remainder are still listed for free .

Contact between potentual buyer and seller on EBID is easy- just use the 'ask a question' feature on any auction.

As Satchel Page said "Don't Look Back". That is my New Years motto with Feepay. Yes, plenty of customers, and plenty of sales. But by the time I found myself running back and forth to the post office, packing, shipping, etc. I felt like an elderly hamster. Now I can make sales at Ebid for a fraction of the cost of Feepay, and make the same amount of profit. Yes, less sales, but (I'm guessing) more solid, loyal return customers.
Am already getting a good many hits and that is a good sign.
This makes so much more sense, yes, even with less sales.
