Default food standards agency - food product withdrawn

SAINSBURY'S RECALLS COCONUT AND LIME SOUP NOODLES

Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd has recalled its own-brand Malaysian Coconut & Lime

Chicken Soup Noodles ready meal 400g, due to incorrect labelling information.

    http://www.food.gov.uk/news/newsarch...06/feb/coconut

Some of the ready meals may contain the wrong sachet of sauce and therefore both the ingredients list and the allergy advice on the packaging are incorrect.
The sauce contains both dairy and peanut ingredients.

Although a general nut warning statement appears on the product, no reference is made to the dairy content.

This means the product is unsafe for people who are allergic or intolerant to nuts or milk.
