andrew400 - suspicious ?

Hey there is a new member andrew400 today. He joined today and has started up many auctions of high value items ( ipods, xbox 360 games, designer clothes)

I know this guy may be someone who wished to only sell on ebid and starts straight away. But it seems a bit too iffy that he joins and is selling so much great stuff at so low prices.

If he is genuine then I wish him all the best , but I thought it seemed a bit out of ordinary and wanted peoples opinions on it.

I'm with you on both counts, i thought it was suspicious & certainly wouldn't bid but wish him all the best if they are genuine auctions.

Heavens preserve us. Give the poor guy a chance. He only has 18 auctions up. The way you were talking I thought he had 180. The prices are low but that is between him and ebid, surely. I only wish I could get them at that price.

personally i wouldnt chance paying over £10.00 to a zero feedback member.

sorry if that sounds unfair but.... i just wouldnt risk it and i do appreciate everyone has to start somewhere.

it would be the same on any auction site not just here

this seller has offered up their id on other sites, as proof of feedback, so they do have some elsewhere but it is fairly low and all for buying, nothing for selling.

Is the username the same on both eBid and Feepay? Do you think it is the same person? Boy, those sure are cheap prices, with the reserve met.

I notice he was not a seller ? only a buyer on espit.

i did send a message to the seller through ebay...

naughty i know, but asking if they were the same andrew400 from bristol, over the other side and that i just wanted to check on a seller before bidding

no response yet

also, the ebid andrew200 has said he can deliver to me if i dont live too far away, i guess i could now say .... thats handy, do you live in bristol or in kent - as your membership on the other auction site says...

but... i dont think i will involved myself further

lets hope he turns out to be genuine and some folks get a good bargain
