She has made BuyNow purchases for 7 items from me and I have to say i wasn't happy that it ends up she wants it delivered to "her store" in Nigeria

However she clams she is going to send me a check (Bank of Island Cheque) once i send her the total due. I have had a couple of email communications with her at this point and am waiting on her to send me the actual shipping address so i can calculate cost.

She knows I am not going to ship until payment has been received and cleared and has agreed to this.

I figure if she sends a check and it clears and i have cash in hand then why not send send her the items it's not like she can turn around and cancel the credit card payment or anything like that.

I have had others request shipping to places like that with less certain payment methods and I never sold it to them.

Anybody know of anything else I should be aware of?

I have had emails from all sorts in Nigeria not through Ebid sales, some claimimg to be about deceased family members and some requesting your details, requesting payment so you can alledgedly claim something or downright begging for money either to get education or for other excuse.
I get a lot of "spoof mail" on Ebay, asking things like, When am sending the goods, "I would like to purchase your item, send me your details, they get reported to Ebay a dozen at a time, some are from the USA. On Ebay a genuine message appears in the message section when logged into ones account, if the email or same message does not appear there, then it's Spoof.
I am not sure if this is the same in Ebid, if not perhaps Ebid could adopt a similar secure message system.

company.My name is Txx Sxxxx from united state of america i am the
managing director in usa, in regard our company will like to buy this
item from you we buy in bulk and sell in bulk okay for the first
purchase we will like to order for 100 of this product new product
from you and before any purchase we will like to have one example of
this perticular prodeuct okay .. we will be so glad if u can have one
example to know the type of product.

....and another SCAM warning. I received this in an e-mail at work yesterday.....

Delivery Service) saying that they have a parcel awaiting delivery
instructions and can you contact them on 0906 6611911

DO NOT call the number as this is a mail scam originating from Belize

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will
already have been billed £15 for the phone call.

If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact
Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655
or ICTIS at <http://www.icstis.org.uk>
or your local trading standards office.

This is a genuine scam.

This is a card posted through your letter box from PDS Parcel Delivery
suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and to call the premium
rate number in question. This service costs £1.50 per minute.

I am sorry to hear another scam , bloody people...grrr...what a waste of everyones time, sadly there are people out there that arent so informed and get caught out...The one about the parcel is scary, first time i have heard that 1...
To get rid of them you can go to the blackball page via your ebid, and blackball them and click the check box to your right to remove all bids from this person..

I've never come across a communal list, i think there is only your own personal list & i just add to mine when i come across the bad guys & gals
