Default Forum signature picture not displaying

I've uploaded a picture for my signature, but it isn't displaying.

When I tried to use a link to the picture on my website, when I pressed 'Save signature', the next screen was blank, and it hadn't worked. I then uploaded the picture from my PC, and it appeared okay on the edit signature page, but it doesn't appear in the forum.

Is anybody else having this problem?

I can see the words "current image?" under the image, but it isn't a link so I can't click on it. Perhaps part of the code's missing?

ive just had another look at mine and current image is above my sig pic .

link to insert is is underneath and everytime i click it it puts in the edit sig box where you put your shop links etc -

[*SIGPIC][*/SIGPIC] - without the little stars

perhaps try just typing it in ??? worth a try

Thanks very much!!! I've finally done it - my logo is now a link too.

I did it like this, in case anybody else wants to do it:

    [*url=http://uk.ebid.tv/stores/Mystore]
    [*SIGPIC]http://www.yourwebspace.co.uk/EbidLogo.jpg[*/SIGPIC]
    [*/url]

Remove asterisks to make it work, and substitue your store name for 'Mystore', and your image location for 'yourwebspace', etc.

    Hurrah!

I can't get it to work for my sig.

    I'm using

    [*SIGPIC]http://www.donkeyote.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Donkeyotejokergreen.jpg[*/SIGPIC]
for the picture, (without the asterisks!) but it says 'No signature picture to display' or something like that, when I try to upload it. Anybody got any ideas?

have you uploaded a sig pic yet -(probably a daft question)

if not go to user cp at top of forum red bar and then to edit sig.
if you can see your sig pic at bottom your ok if not maybe its too big or something similar .

hope you manage to get it sorted

Having just tried all this myself, I found that pointing to a URL for the picture didn't work, but uploading it from my PC did.

    HTH.

Mark and Gazza, is there any chance of having a look at this at your end? It seems like there's something wrong with the whole sig pic function. I've tried uploading a picture from my computer, and it says it's there, in the Control Panel, but it won't display. But there is a big space at the bottom of each of my posts, about the same size as the space the picture would take up!

Thanks for you help guys/gals. I had to upload it from my PC (that didn't work last night, but did just now), and then put in

    [*url=http://uk.ebid.tv/stores/Donkeyote]
    [*SIGPIC]http://www.donkeyote.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Donkeyotejokergreen.jpg[*/SIGPIC]
    [*url]

    without the asterisks.

I think maybe it would be much better for all of us if it was possible just to
    a) upload the image (and have it work!) and
    b) to choose to make the image automatically link to your shop or your auctions, as lots of people don't know the code (I didn't until you all helped me!).
