Problem with listings vanishing from shop

Hi

Can anyone shed light on my situation please?

I have listed items in my shop and they showed up there fine, but when I went in to alter some adverts, they disappeared from the shop and I have just found out that they are only listed as auctions, and don't show up in the shop anymore.

When I went into the advert to see what I had done wrong - there is no section which shows which shop category the item is to be listed in!

I am completely confused by this!

Hi maybe when you went into alter things the shop category dropdown went back to none. Maybe if you go back into edit one of them and chack this.

Thanks for your help. I have tried that, but the section for the shop categories isn't on the page when you go to change an item!

Very strange - so I have e-mailed Gazza in the hopes he can shed some light on this for me.

That is, indeed, strange - your shop is open with listings but you have more auctions that are not in your shop (I just checked)

This happened to me the other day! I had to 'list similar' then delete the originals. Then suddenly it was all alright.

I complained about it at great length on the board. I don't know if that helped or not!

Something I noticed yesterday, is that some of my listings disappeared from the face of the earth later on, they came back, silly me, forgot that this happens when the listings repost themselves

Don't know if this is the problem what you're refering to, but if you're worried about "missing" listings, then they probably came back after a repost, that is, if you had it on repost and if you didn't, then I haven't a clue what I'm on about!
