Thread: Help with Advertising e-bid!

  1. #1

    Talking Help with Advertising e-bid!

    Hi

I have recently joined e-bid and have already suggested to other folk, that one easy and cheap way to advertise e-bid (especially if you are still using other auction sites or your own websites to sell things) is to put a little A6 sized flyer in with your despatches advertising your own site and e-bid at the same time.

I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now and hopefully it will help people to become aware of e-bid as I haven't seen any advertising myself so far!

    Just a thought!

    Hi Ikea+

I have already got my own flyers printed, but thanks anyway! Very kind of you.

I've been putting "come over to ebid" flyers in my ebay parcels for months. I've just designed new ones, but will have to do some bookmark shaped ones for when I sell books - great idea maroy41.

And I can report a success - today for the first time someone said "I was pleased with what I bought from you on ebay and have just purchased from you on ebid" :-D

Madelaine, I had a couple too come over from the other side, one has returned the other mailed me and said she was a bit intimidated using the site, so hopefully the changes Gazza and Mark have in the pipeline will be user friendly enough to keep our buyers coming back, in the meantime, the other side will keep getting my bookmarks, and when I mail them, I send a link to ebid, maybe our perseverance will pay off.
