missing auctions: 700 and rising

I'm having problems with disappearing auctions again. I've had sold auctions which have never arrived in my 'auctions i listed: succesful' list, plus i now have over 700 unsold auctions which have closed ( probably reached the ten auto report) but have not appeared in my 'auctions i listed: unsuccesful' area for me to relist.

As i usually have well over 2000 auctions listed at any one time it's impossible for me to know which auctions are missing.

I'm wondering if this new category of 'new' or used' (i don't remember anyone asking for that?) is causing the problem - as all my closing auctions will not have this set.

I have opened a ticket with support- but so far they have not managed to solve the problem.

is anyone else loosing auctions?

Were these items listed as 'on first bid'?

Apologies if you already know this, but items listed as 'on first bid' do just disappear after they reach their 180-day limit.

I had this problem with 60 listings, which I reported and the guys were looking into. See this thread for details.

However, currently, there still appears to be no easy way to locate them and re-list them in bulk. In fact, I currently can't re-list them at all, unless I create 60 new auctions... which I really can't be bothered doing.

My auctions are all on autorepost set to 10.
Auctions disappearing seems to be a regular event - particularly after an 'upgrade' . I suspect the problem this time is the new 'new and used' box which wouldn't have been completed on my original auctions.

On previous occasions I've found some missing auctions when i've searched the sites 'open' listings - although the auctions themselves show as closed. At the moment I am still 700 auctions missing and am sure this is impacting on my sales.

My problem is it's impossible to know which of my 2200 plus auctions are the 'missing' ones without doing a massive stocktake - so i cant search the 'open' listings to find and repost them individually.. and if i could i wouldn't have time!.

I agree they really need to get this sorted as it seems to be happening on a monthly basis

The good news is a lot of auctions that finished on Saturday and Sunday- have now made it to my 'auctions i listed: unsuccesful' area and i'm busy reposting them.
EBID have asked me not to delete any 'auctions i listed: unsuccesful for now, so i may have uploaded some duplcates!. I'll find them tonight by listing my open auctions in alpha order- meanwhile please excuse any duplicate listings!
