And also those lovely merry maid toffees?? Or even better, toffo I think they were called - round toffees - used to have loads of different flavours in the pack - banana, strawberry, normal toffee....

I am so so jealous....I love all those 'old fashioned' sweets like pear drops
...and liquorice torpedoes...and Pomfract Cakes....
but I can't eat sugar....
so until some diabetic stuff comes along I will just have to drool...

I used to love Chocolate tools, cola cubes and strawberry and pineapple rock.
Now im not a sweets person anymore but i bought some the other day from Debenhams lovely they are ( not tasted them ) but they look sooooo pretty
They are Mrs Bridges Fruit marbles and Blueberry & raspberry sweets ( see pic ) im going to get all the set ... look nice in the kitchen
So if you made them like this in jars all ried up and pretty, id buy some
