Cat Advice needed please!!!

I have been looking after and feeding what I think is a stray cat for many months now. She is gorgeous and really settled in our home.
During the very bad weathers last winter she was out in the snow rain and freezing almost 24 hours a day. Anytime of night she was out side huddled in an old wooden box in my garden. And so skinny Needless to say I let her in my shed for shelter and this gradually became my kitchen for food. she is so affectionate and very gentle and well behaved. I cannot believe that people are so uncaring and should not have pets if they do not accept them into the family and care for them properly

Long story short etc. Would any body know if she had 2 booster vaccinations in a year would it be safe? I am just worried in case she has already been vaccinated by the previous owner. Which I doubt. I am trying to make enquiries to see if she definately has an owner before I register her with the vet. I think maybe the owners have moved and left her behind.

She is around 3 or 4 years as I can remember seeing her as a kitten

Hi ya,
She may not be abandoned, she could be lost or have ran off for some reason. The best thing you can do is contact all the surrounding vets to see if anyone has lost a cat. She Also may be microchipped and the vets would be able to tell you that and offer advice on vacinations.

Thank you for your advice. I did not think of the microchip. Good thinking! I have put up found posters with no result. Anyway I will take her to the vet to scan her and make enquiries. In the meantime she has a welcome bed at ours out of the howling wind and rain

That's the way it goes does'nt it. Primus had a great week a couple of weeks ago.

Bless, she is very lucky to find someone as kind as you. If she isn't microchipped and no-one comes forward to you be able to keep her if you wanted to!
