    Talking I sold something!

Hi Terry, yes I actually made a sale over Christmas.I know others have since too.Obviously it all depends on demand.I've just noticed your auctions are listed in your store category:Clothing & Accessories:Women.
Some people do search under category first so if they are looking for phonecards their first port of call wont be Clothing..etc
As a platinum member you can have more than one store, why not open one specifically for phonecards? You could then go to a phonecard collectors site & put a link to it on that site.(Most sites have forums now just include a link in your posts)
Or even a store under the Collectable category which would then include the phonecard section.
By the way what happened to the door lock plaque thingy?Did you sell it elsewhere?
Obviously it's a matter of choice but I find an auction that starts on first bid is better for me.Saves me keep relisting! You might find it is easier for you too.Hope I have been of help. All best wishes,Graham.

    Smile

    Hi Graham
Thanks for the advice and help. I've just looked in my store and the phonecards appear to be listed in Collectables - Phonecards. How did you get to see them via Clothing & Accessories - Women?
The plaque is listed on the other site, 10p listing day you see. It's got 2 watchers and had 71 viewings already.
This is the nicer and cheaper site but the other one attracts the attention. lets hope that changes.
    Regards
    Terry

Hi Terry, sorry looking back I can see I wasn't that clear.
What I meant was your store category was listed under Clothing & Accessories:Women. If someone wants to look for phonecards in the ebid stores listings, your auctions don't show up.
I'm not sure whether you could use the same store name in different categories,as in opening another "The Store" & list under Collectables:Phonecards as well as your existing one.Maybe you'd have to call it something like "The Store (collectables)".A matter of trial & error methinks!
