we could all advertise ebid if we could send newsletters

if ebid would give us the facility to send out newsletters
especially if we have sold on other site`s in the past we could send out details not only of our own sites and what were offering but they could be sent out with the ebid banner on. i cannot think of a better way to advertise ebid than
by sending out from sellers to past buyers from other sites. it might be worth while setting up a pole to see if anyone else

I completely disagree with the newsletter suggestion to the point that I think it's nonsense to even consider it as an option. Why would eBid want to provide members with such a facility? Anyone can send out free newsletters, it's the exact same as sending all your contacts an email or signing up with a free newsletter provider and getting all your contacts to join. If it is because you have found some excellent bargains on here, you can use the existing 'tell a friend' link attached to each auction item. Or am I totally missing the point here?
