LOL at your spell checker bomb

may be the praise or neg (if you're unfortunate enuf to have any) and neutral need to be different colours and the comment itself highlighted. edit - found some coloured blobs at right hand side of entry

I'm having enough trouble with reading my own - not sure if I could be bothered trying to work out a prospective seller's - not sure it's worth the headache

Ri its not about making things look pretty, it's about presenting a more professional look and i think they have done that. How a company looks and first impressions are really important. When searching for things online i check out many sites, some looks very amateurish and it puts me off joining or buying almost instantly. If the site looks clean and professional it makes it more likely i will buy. I think ebid does look more professional now so i think the new design was worthwhile even though a few categories are missing

have you emailed support about the new categories?

    LMAO!!!!!

    please Peter be sensible here!!!

I emailed them about the buddy auctions not being biddable as they are dated 18th September 2006 - I got a ticket for it 2 weeks ago - they said it's been passed to our technical dept. Nothing happened so I thought it's cos of revamp etc. so will wait.

Revamp has happened and guess what?

one of the buddy auctions on the front page is dated 18th September 2006
yep - nowt done at all and doesn't really add to that professionalism you were spouting about does it? Front page auction by Ebid for buddy points is out of date

it doesn't matter though really cos nobody hardly can bid for them pmsl

and if they only want to appear to be more professional and not actually sell anything then I suppose it's a plus eh hehehehehe!!!!!

shall I just pop back say every coupla months to see if I can list something then?

glitches I expect - this is ignoring requests.

I gave them a chance when I waited 3 months after raising the request in the first place and it has been ignored - not a glitch.

believe me if I thought it was a glitch I would give them a chance - I do NOT believe this is a glitch - I believe this is their decision on the categories needed.

I won't mention it again and sorry I should just be happy it's a pretty place and go to an auction site if I want to list my stuff
Just got in 2 hrs sleep, doing new categories is next on my list. Give me an hour and they'll all be done. Sorry for the wait.

I prefered the orginal website, it was colourful, looked good and professional. i think this version does not look very professional but you cant please everyone.
