When previewing - it states its a dutch auction.
When viewing in an auction condition:

In Bidding history box:

"Important : See Dutch Auction notes below in "Make a Bid" section below"

In Purchase item using buy-it-now

"If you wish to bid under normal auction conditions please use the form below as usual."

The auction isnt a ducth auction, but a BIN one.

As its a BIN auction, the form that the second quote is gestuering to isnt there - this is generic isnt it?

It will be Dutch Auction unless you have clicked the "Fixed Price" box, then auction conditions will disapper. Is this what you mean?

I don't know if this is a "just me" thing but I'll post it here just in case.

I've got a store Category of 'Compact Discs' and I'm trying to add a Subcategory of 'Punk CDs' but I've been unable to so far.

After I log in I click on My eBid and then My eBid Store. From the 'Add new subcategory' section I choose the 'Compact Discs' Parent Category, type in "Punk CDs" in the text box underneath and click the Add button. The page refreshes but the subcategory is not visible.

I've tried manually refreshing the page, deleting cookies, logging back in etc.. to no avail.

I have tried to list a new item today for the first time since the site was changed. I am getting an error message telling me I haven't selected the duration. The message tells me the durations I can choose from and says that alternatively I can select on first bid. Trouble is I have selected first bid, there is nothing else I can select. In addition, I am using "sell similar" so all this stuff should already be selected (and it appears that it is).

Hope someone can help as I have lots more items to list.

Hi Debbie,
I think it's because you're trying to use one day auctions, the minimum is 3 days now maximum 10 (unless you use Run til Sold)
Just choose how the auction starts,
then type in a duration.

Thank you for your help. That is something to try. It is the first time I have listed since the changes, so perhaps that is the reason. I will come back to the thread if it still doesn't work, in case you can help again.

Just to clarify, I am using start auction on first bid, then I think I may have had the one day auction. I will have a play around anyway.

Hi, I may be wrong, but I suspect that the viewer counters have started logging visits by the person listing again.
