Is it possible for us to have a secure sign in please? Either as an option as in complete place of the present unsecure sign in.

Please let us know if you can do this G&M, it would be good for the site (there's a lot of negative publicity for online auction sites, and being better equipped to promote eBid as a secure environment would be absolutely great).

I've been meaning for ages to request this, thanks Mat.

Like many these days, I'm often accessing the 'net via WiFi. This is the ONLY site where I can't use SSL, and although theft of my identity would be less serious for me on eBid than, say, online banking, it still worries me.

I realise there's a cost involved for G&M in going to Verisign and getting a certificate. Even if only an out of date certificate were used, or one keyed to a different site, I'd prefer it to none.
