For any MSE posters who have chanced upon this thread - No, Gazza absolutely did not put us up to it. We just saw something that was not quite right on the forums and decided to speak up about it. And I'd like to echo what Hannah Holly said about thanking some of the MSE forum regulars who bothered to read through the threads and who understood what we were trying to say.

Could someone else start the Ebid thread as suggested by Hannah Holly? I'm totally spent with all the posts and letter-writing and am still nursing the battle wounds:-)

I'm sorry you've not had a great response to your letter, please don't let that detract from the fact you did a great job. Your postings were fair and focussed and I believe most users recognised that.

If no one else wants to start a thread titled 'Selling your stuff on EBID, how to sell' then i'll gather all the 'how to' info and start one at the weekend.
