I think if eBid would just do the buyers like they do the sellers and not give the buddy points until they receive their feedback that would take away the incentive to buy and not pay, if that is their reason.

Wow! Now I like this idea!!!! Its still a win/win but only after its truely EARNED, then you both get rewarded.

Or you could take it one step further and only award any Buddy Points if both seller and buyer have left feedback.
