OK..not so many bookmarks but a few sites I visit on a semi-regular basis:

    http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/

Some great "coffee break" games to play on there.

    http://www.brb.org.uk/homepage.html

Probably one of the most talented ballet companies I have ever seen and they're based in my town

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news

The first place I go to each morning. Despite some recent problems I trust the BBC over most other media sources.

    And of course...

    freerice.com

By increasing your vocabulary, you also help to feed the world.
Each time you guess the correct definition to a word, you earn 10 grains of rice for charity.

I love freerice too - it doesn't feel quite so much like wasting time because you are donating rice.

Thanks for the replies and links folks.

I thought we'd get a few more than that though.

I'd not heard of the free rice one before, looks good so I'll pass it on.

    OK here's my little addition

http://www.theaa.com/travelwatch/planner_main.jsp this as been the best route planner I've found, and being a fairly new driver its come in handy, in getting to know different places.

http://www.national-lottery.co.uk/pl...heckerStart.do - I use this every week for checking lotto results, might be useless to some, but to me its handy having it bookmarked, cos i don't have to click on several pages to get to it.

http://www.satorisoftware.co.uk/UK/a...dressCheck.asp - useful if you don't want to be verifying addresses with royal mail and finding address and postcode checker on royal mail's site, and its quicker and does the same job.

http://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk - my local town's newspaper, now has a have your say feature on it and you can comment on any article featured, and its published immediately.

http://www.onlinesearches.info/?gcli...FQTllAodo0kL4g - if you want to find someone that you haven't seen in years, you can find them on this link for a very small fee. It searches the whole of the current electoral role.
