What makes eBid Special

I thought it was time I gave Gazza a Mark a bit of praise ......
eBid has some great features that are either not available or not free on at least 'one other' auction site. Don't shoot me down in flames for any I get wrong, but these are the features that I know of that are superior to the competition:

FREE standard listing
Set the auction length - any time you like between 3 and 90 days
Only 5p maximum listing fee for thumbnail image
default auction template
integrated checkout for seller+ for google checkout, pppay and paypal
cheap featured front page auctions
Buddy points and buddy point auctions
Good aucion patrolling - not awash with fakes and quick action taking for any auctions reported.
For seller+ up to 5 stores with no extra charges
Video links to YouTube movies - so you can promote your items more
products linked into google base
Good range of categories
Proper replies to support queries - not just standard templates
Friendly, helpful forum

I think you'll find that only the first store is free, there is now a monthly charge for xtra ones, even if you're seller+

Where are you getting that from? As far as i'm aware Seller + can have up to 5 free stores. ( i do!)
. I just checked the help pages in case something had changed - and they say 'seller + " free multiple ebid stores"

Yes, seller+ can have up to five free stores, I already checked. FIVE FREE STORES? WOW! And no monthly standing charges on any of them

CONGRATULATIONS EBID!!! i was an ebay member for many years and made not to bad a living from it but they have gotten greedy, the fees are constantly going up and they seem to make up the rules as they go along. i have left them for good and have told my fellow ebayers to do the same, the service you get from ebid is 100% better and alot cheaper too and no demands that you have to use paypal who are another waste of space, so congrats to all at ebid im sure in the not to distant future all those ebayers will have become ebidders instead :-)

Yes, it's nicve to get more and more defectors. We've got quite a useful bunch of people on the forums as well!

In my view a very big part of what makes eBid special is the excellent customer service. On Monday I inadvertantly listed 2 items in the Featured mode (£1 for each). As soon as I realised my error I removed them and re-listed as Gallery auctions; contacted support and asked if the fees could be cancelled. - Just over an hour later it was done.

Very good customer care - they could quite easilly have said "tough luck, you should have been more careful.
