    NEVER IN A MILLION!

Can't believe folk are actually bidding on ALL of his auctions.

& he's offering to take them off sale & take money directly!

Think admin need to be taking a close look at these!

I can never understand how many people will bid on things like this.

He has been a member 2 days
    Has NO Feedback
He hasn't filled in his about me page or added any proven link
    to feedback gained anywhere.
If you look closely I think he's nicked the image from feebay (looks like their camera under the eBid logo) it's not even a decent picture.
    No escrow offered
    He has stated no collection
He has asked people to pay directly into his bank or paypal account, so he can pull the auction & avoid fees
He has quote BuyNow prices ranging from £180 upward.
Not to mention the multiple identical listings which break eBid's listing rules.

Why do people STILL bid, after all the warnings, on this site, on the net in general, on TV programmes like Watchdog, with interviews on the news from Trading Standards.

What's betting IF any of these auctions are allowed to run until they finish, that he'll also contact the underbidders offering to sell to them as well. He's sure planning on a good Christmas.....

    for himself.

Gazza & Mark, I know you were thinking about restricting sales of high priced goods, in certain categories, from new sellers. Any news on that front?
Introducing something would be not only fantastic for buyers, but also the site as a whole. It would also be something with substance for the PR Company to use.

This is the best arguement I have seen for not having eBid watermarks, at least then you can see the full image. So you can tell if the image has been "borrowed" from somewhere else.

As for the no collections rule; I can't say I blame him. If I had multiple amounts of Wiis or other popular gadgets I wouldn't be advertising my address.

But all winning bidders would get your address anyway!

That's true, but with a collection they would get the opportunity to have a look at your property; with the possibility of an un-invited visit later.

I think it would be more logical to assume he doesn't want collection because he hasn't got the goods in the first place!

This kind of action by the management team of E Bid should be published far and wide, where they are putting the buyers first and protecting them, to the detriment of their own income,
I keep working at my listings to get sales moving but when you compare the view a buyer gets of an item on ???? IE buyer protection up to £££ from paypal I know its a joke sometimes but it looks good and on here nothing about protecting the buyer,so if the action of support could be given prominence somehow thinks it might help.
Not like the ???????? where every other post seems to be a scam of some sort .

    Bearsden06

P.S How about a running total somewhere eye catching we have thrown this number of dodgy sellers off Ebid this month?always striving to protect the buyer.
