I'd like to design five or so standard auction templates which Ebid can then offer on the selling page, so that those who don't know much HTML and CSS (and who don't have the time) can just enter their item descriptions into the provided spaces, and the auction will come out looking nice and professional looking.
The templates would be something like this:
<!-- PUT TITLE BELOW -->
Title
<!----------------------->
<!-- PUT ITEM DESCRIPTION BELOW -->
Item description
<!----------------------->
etc.
surrounded by the HTML code, so it would be as easy as I can make it, for newcomers to just add their own title, description, and pictures.
Ebid could show a thumbnail of the five different templates on the selling items page, and if you moused over each thumbnail, CSS would pop up a larger window with the template and a sample auction in it.
Would anybody find this useful? I thought it would help Ebid, because it makes it really easy for everybody to produce a professional looking auction. (Presuming my designs are professional!)
