Thread: Tick Boxes Auction-to-Store

  1. #1

    Default Tick Boxes Auction-to-Store

This MUST have been suggested in the past, sometime..

For the poor souls (like me! ) opening up a store, faced with the prospect of editing 50+ auctions INDIVIDUALLY to move items over:

When listing the 'auctions running', Pretty Please, why not have a tick-box alongside/under each item? If it means only moving half a dozen items at a time into different categories it'll save Stacks of time & effort.. Imagine the 'savings' a 'Select All' option (to move everything into one category) would provide?!

If it's not already being considered, please add it to 'the list' for future store-owners?

    Cheers
    Steve

I use the 'export listings' feature.
export all your listings to a .csv file
delete the incorrect listings on ebid ( select all/delete)
using excel open your exported .csv fule and edit the store column to add item to store.
use the bulk upload feature to upload the corrected listings. If you're familiar with excel this will take between 5-10 minutes

I 'used' to be great with excel & others - many moons ago.. nowadays I have Open Office for the rare times I use/need a s/sheet. I'm sure you're step-by-step is easy enough once you've been through it once or twice, HH, but I reckon a simple tick-box is a Lot more user-friendly across the board, even if it takes a few extra minutes(?)

    (expecting Excel nightmares, thanks)
