Default Need a way to drop eBid Auctions into website

What I'm looking for is eBid to provide an html builder that generates "auction boxes" like them over there on the left of this page, so they can them be plonked into websites, blogs, mySpace etc etc etc

Also, some form of feed that responds to search criteria

e.g. if I'm writing a blog that accuses Gordon Brown of being a big girl's blouse, I'd want a column, row, or block of boxes that only show plus-size girl's blouses.

Well, you get the idea I hope

I agree, that would be a useful thing to have. It would definitely help promote eBid and our auctions!

Default eBid items on your website

This is what I have on my website as a promotion for the eBidders taking part in whatever madcap challenge we have at any given time. It isn't live feed, but I can change it to show whatever I want in the grid

Something like "More from this Seller" that shows next to an item listing would be really great. Insert the code into a web page or blog and the items would change each time.

I would use it if it was available.

I used to use greedbay's version of what you are suggesting. It worked a treat!
It would be really useful to have a similar type of "thing" for eBid.
Does anyone know how this could be done?

Ebid is soon to be enabled with RSS feeds I think. Once that happens you can easily place live eBid auctions on your blog or website. For example I already make use of auction RSS feeds on a number of sites including http://www.NetStoreSearch.com (see the listings & pictures down the right hand side).

Once the feeds are available it's very easy to set up and you can even use free third party services so you can just cut n paste a small snippet of code to get the data displayed on your website.

I'm really looking forward to eBids feeds becoming available, it will be a massive help.

RSS feeds from the announcements forums would be a good idea too

It would also allow auction-site watchers and commentators to gather news about eBid a lot more and for the name to appear in the blogosphere a lot more, as well as in a lot more discussion boards that cover online auctions.

ppPay also needs a "news blog" with RSS feeds enabled, for exactly the same reasons - WordPress is free (open source) software, sets up in minutes, and has RSS and social networking inbuilt natively in the latest version.

Doing hose ideas would seriously boost the net-chatter about eBid and ppPay, increasing their profile and thus traffic and users.
