The Adult Section.....

Could the Adult categories be moved OUT of Whatever's Left into their own category? Or could all the other sub cats be moved into other categories, so the only thing remaining in Whatever's left would be Adult?

I'm asking because when you click on Whatevers Left, You are faced with a list of everything within, including porn etc - but there are some great items in the Whatevers Left, which will not get looked at if visitors think it's just Adult stuff!

Ideally, a restricted area for adult items would be the best thing, so that the Adult category could stand alone as a Top Category. But as that isn't going to happen just yet, I think a shift about of what's currently there is needed.

I've already asked for the adult stuff to stay hidden in their own section until you click on adult....

I agree with this - if there are enough items listed in in to make it a top level category (which it seems there is) I think it should go on its own.

Not sure, but I would have thought that this would make it easier to exclude from searchese etc, and you could also put a warning on as they enter the section to say there may be explicit content.

I think this category is a really good idea on here, but I'm not sure that it is best placed with packing and metaphysical items :shock:

G&M have already said while back they intend to create a seperate adult section, it's on the "to do" list, probably not a 5 minute job, particularly as there are so many different ideas about how it should be entered !

Best idea maybe simply to click an over 18 confirmation box.
It may not be a very clever idea to make it more complex than that in the long run.
For example if a credit card verification needed (ie only silver can enter ?) then it will simply push adult buyers onto QXL, and then quite possibly they will stay and buy other items also.
